Villa Yustina | 2020 | Bulgaria

Chardonnay Monogram

Why this particular wine?

Chardonnay from the Monogram edition from the Bulgarian winery Villa Yustina is one of the best we have tasted so far. Selection from hand-picked grapes, maceration at low temperatures, finished with aging in French oak barrels for six months. Its rich creamy taste will charm you with the first sip. We recommend combining it with a significant event to make it stick in your memory even more.

Founded in 2006, Villa Yustina embarked on a remarkable winemaking journey and created its first "monogram" just one year later. By 2008, this Bulgarian gem planted the first 20 hectares of its vineyards, which doubled by 2014, symbolizing the growth and ambition of the winery.

At its core, Villa Yustina is dedicated to producing excellent still and sparkling wines from its own grapes, using the latest technology. This innovative spirit has won Villa Yustina numerous international awards, making it a formidable player in the global wine market.

The vineyards, which are located only 4 km from the winery, flourish on the southern slope at an altitude of 300 meters. These calcareous soils are home to a variety of grapes, including Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The wine park has become a cultural center, hosting events such as weddings and concerts, especially during the lively spring and summer months.

Villa Yustina also serves as a gateway to the rich history of the region. Nearby Perushtitsa offers historic sites such as the 6th century Red Church and the Church-Museum of “St. Archangel Michael.” The Rhodope Mountains are decorated with nature trails and ancient forts that invite visitors to explore the area's past.

Villa Yustina is not just a winery; it is a mixture of culture, history and innovative winemaking. Each bottle from Villa Yustina is a tribute to the rich Bulgarian wine heritage and offers a unique story and a taste of perfection.
