Graševina

Why this particular wine?

Galić Graševina 2023 is an excellent white wine that exemplifies the unique terroir of the Croatian Kutjevo region. This wine made from the Graševina grape, which is a local offshoot of Vlašský Riesling, is characterized by a lively profile with citrus aromas that intertwine with subtle notes of green apple, pineapple and peach. The grapes were cold macerated for 18-24 hours, then fermented and matured in stainless steel tanks, and 33% of the wine was fermented with natural yeasts and matured on lees, using the sur lie method. The complexity and balance of this wine make it an excellent representation of Croatian winemaking excellence.
