The company Víno Mrva & Stanko was established in 1997. It was founded by two friends: Peter Stanko, who was successfully dedicated to advertising, and Vladimír Mrva, a winemaker with international experience.

At the end of the twentieth century, a reborn Slovakia was searching for a path to modern wine. The Mrva & Stanko winery offered a drink that society longed for. It introduced varietally pure, light, and refreshing wines, surprising with clarity and a plethora of fruity tones. Perfect harmony in taste and aroma, along with a modern bottle design, sharply contrasted with the heavy wines of the era.
