The grapes for the Black Edition are only from 10 selected rows of vines. A wine that is discreet and distinctive. The smell is intense, very aromatic. Smell fresh tropical fruit notes like mushy mango, melon and ripe guava. Hints of passion fruit and blood orange. Notes of marmalade, spice or sandalwood. Seductive, unforgettable and exceptional. Sauvignon Blanc Black Edition 2019 is a complex, rich alternative style of Sauvignon Blanc.
Fermented with 100% "wild" yeast in older barrels. Malo-lactic fermentation softens the characteristic acidity of this variety and creates a creamy, complex, delicate Sauvignon Blanc that will continue to develop elegantly in the bottle. The taste is slightly creamy, rich in texture, complex - thanks to the "wild" yeast - up front, an explosion of taste, juicy. Wild herbs, passion fruit leather, kumquat. Followed by caramelized citrus fruits, grilled peach or grilled pineapple. Character of lemon meringue cake followed by siliceous sludge. The taste is wonderfully persistent, long and generous.
